Heather Gordon
Director
Heather is a retired educator with a life-long commitment to environmental issues. As an avid gardener, she has become passionate about conserving and restoring native landscapes and ecosystems. She has applied this to her own backyard, adding more than fifty species of native plants to her three-acre property. She heads the “Native Plant Advocates” in her city’s garden club, which fosters native plant/pollinator patches in local businesses, public parks, and home landscapes. Her work with CFC has furthered her passion for promoting healthy local ecosystems, and she frequently volunteers on CFC work trips. In addition to her CFC work, she serves as a volunteer naturalist with The Nature Conservancy and as a Native Plant Steward with the Washington Native Plant Society.
