As President of Leading Edge Public Affairs, Niki Terzieff draws upon a decade of experience in Oregon politics- both policy work and on the campaign trail. Her campaign career helped to shape the current landscape and resulted in long-standing relationships with caucus leaders in both parties and both chambers.
Over the last decade, Terzieff has been a growing force in Salem by shaping, negotiating, and passing legislation on behalf of a broad spectrum of clients and perspectives. She began her legislative career in 2005 as Chief of Staff and Policy Advisor for former Majority Leader Mary Nolan. In early 2007, Terzieff was hired by a premiere public policy and advocacy firm in Salem. For the past 6 years at The Tresidder Company and then at Strategies 360-Oregon, Niki advocated as an independent lobbyist on a wide range of issues. She has built a solid foundation for success in the healthcare and public safety sectors, working issues from all sides. Additionally, during each legislative session Niki has effectively engaged with all issue and policy areas on behalf of clients within the education, energy, local government, business and non-profit sectors.
When not in the hallowed halls of the Capitol, Niki is fundraising for the Political Action Committee she founded to End Violence Against Women (VAW-PAC) and keeps busy as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors at the Cascade Forest Conservancy. When all is finally said and done, you can find Niki and her wonder-dog, Chevy, exploring the Gifford Pinchot National Forest or traveling on her beloved motorcycle.
