Aaron Knott is a Portland native who spent his childhood years in and around Gifford Pinchot. A former prosecutor for the City of Portland, Aaron now works as the Legislative Director for Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, a job that involves civil, criminal and administrative policy. This brings him into frequent contact with the unique legal challenges facing our parks and wild spaces. Aaron has also worked doing trail maintenance and repair along the Pacific Crest Trail and frantically pulling invasive garlic mustard from riparian drainages. A graduate from the University of Oregon, Aaron moved to the University of Minnesota for his J.D. but came back after realizing that the Midwest is, in fact, flat. He has previously served as a board member for Advantis Credit Union.
